Release 2.4.4 (May 08, 2025)

We’re pleased to introduce Kurloo Nest v2.4.4, a feature-rich update designed to enhance monitoring capabilities and improve usability across both web and mobile platforms. This release brings new visualisation tools, weather station integration, reporting upgrades, and mobile enhancements – all aimed at streamlining your workflow and improving clarity in site operations.

Kurloo Nest now supports SenseCap weather stations, enabling reliable, site-specific environmental monitoring.

Bird's Eye View

Introducing Bird's Eye View – a top-down, two-dimensional visualisation of sensor displacement, now available in the sensor detail view.

  • Horizontal Displacement: Track horizontal movements over time
  • Elevation View: Monitor vertical movement alongside
  • Together, they offer a clear representation of displacement direction, magnitude, and trends

New Network Map View

A new Network Map is now available across all map views within Kurloo Nest, providing an intuitive visualisation of sensor relationships and layout.

  • Clearly see the connection between sensors and their reference stations
  • View horizontal distances to assist with network design and spatial analysis
  • Ideal for complex or large-scale monitoring networks

Auto Report Enhancements

We’ve expanded auto-reporting capabilities to offer more customisation and contextual insights:

  • Improved content controls for recurring reports
  • A new content option has been introduced: Sensor Installation. This section includes sensor imagery and skyplots to assist users in visualising sensor placement and assessing GNSS environmental conditions.

Sensor images can be conveniently captured during installation using the Kurloo mobile app.

Analysis Upgrade: “All Sensors” Option

Perform a complete site analysis with ease. Users can now include all sensors in a project in a single analysis without manual selection.

Bug Fixes & General Improvements

  • Resolved rendering issues in statistical charts
  • Corrected timezone inconsistencies in data exports
  • Various UI and interaction improvements across the platform

Kurloo Mobile App

Field workflows have been improved with several quality-of-life updates in the Kurloo mobile app:

  • Manual Sensor Detach: Remove sensors directly from the app
  • Font Scaling Support: Enhanced readability for accessibility, up to 175% font size
  • Optimised QR Scanning: Faster and more accurate detection, with zoom and camera switch functionality
  • Improved Sensor Search: Quickly locate sensors using enhanced search capabilities
