Tilt Compensation beta

Tilt compensation improves displacement measurement accuracy by accounting for the physical tilt of the sensor mounting pole. This means you're measuring actual ground movement, not the combined effect of ground movement and pole lean. Check out the tilt compensation documentation for details.
Enable tilt compensation on your monitoring sensors

Key capabilities
- Automatic tilt lookup: Finds applicable tilt readings within a 7-day lookback period using binary search
- Advanced calibration: Compensates for pole tilt with mathematical transformations:
- Horizontal displacement:
X = h × sin(tiltB),Y = h × sin(tiltA) - Rotation compensation based on sensor heading
- Vertical offset:
cH = sqrt(h² - (x² + y²))
- Horizontal displacement:
- Visual indicators: A toggle appears above the graph when tilt compensation is enabled

Sensor settings interface updates
Sensor details now show only the information relevant to each sensor category.

Distance Measurement Tool
Measure distances directly on the map with click-to-place points and drag-to-reposition controls.
How to use it
- Click to place points: Add measurement points by clicking on the map
- Click to remove points: Remove points by clicking on existing markers
- Drag to reposition: Drag measurement points to adjust their positions
- Real-time calculation: Distance displays instantly in meters
- Segment display: See individual segment distances and total distance
- Visual feedback: Blue polyline connects measurement points with distance labels
Finding the tool

Look for the measurement button in the top-right corner of the sensor map. When active, it's highlighted in the primary color. The tooltip shows: "Measure distance. Click to place or remove points. Drag to reposition."
Distances display in meters with one decimal place: X,XXX.X m
